shippo careers: more options

Hey Folks,

shippo careers has a motto: Lift, Climb, Shine. We believe that as you make progress in your own career, you should be reaching back to lift someone else up to your level, all while remembering to savor your own wins.

For all of those reasons, I’m launching a paid subscription for deeper dives.  shippo careers’ mission is to ensure that everyone can grow in a healthy career. A paywall shouldn’t be a hurdle to that. shippo careers will always have free options, and the creation of those free options is supported by paid subscriptions.

The regular monthly post will stay free. With a paid subscription, you’ll additionally receive the following throughout the month:

• For Technical Leaders: How do you take that month’s topic one step further? How can you help your team succeed in that skill?
• For Managers: How do you coach this skill to others? You’ll find exercises to do with your team, common pitfalls, and tips on how to support your team’s growth.
• Let Me Ask Steph: Submit a career-related question at shippocareers.com and I’ll choose one or two each month to answer.

I believe in recognizing the value in your own work. I can’t help others advocate for their own worth if I’m not advocating for my own. Starting in August, you’ll have the option to support shippo careers through a $13/monthly subscription.

Are you struggling justifying spending the money on investing in yourself? If you receive a learning and development budget through your current role, consider using it on a shippo careers subscription.

Don’t need the paid content? Consider paying it forward. If you’re already in a good spot in your career, maybe gift a subscription to lift someone else up. Subscriptions are great ways to recognize the mentees, friends, or co-workers that you root for every day.

Can’t afford it yet? That’s ok. Use the free content to level up your career until you get to a point where you can. That’s how this all works! We’ll also be publishing more regular content on our Instagram if that’s more your jam.
